Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Foxen Tech Solution (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information with AI Calorie Tracker - ScanFood (the “App”), an Android application available on the Google Play Store.
The App helps users scan food items, estimate calories, and track nutrition-related information. To support features such as food recognition, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, attribution, and in-app purchases, the App may use third-party Android SDKs and service providers that operate under their own privacy policies.
By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Throughout this policy, we will clarify the following:
1. Who We Are
- App name: AI Calorie Tracker - ScanFood
- Platform: Android / Google Play
- Publisher: Foxen Tech Solution
- Privacy contact: support@appnatic.com
2. Information We Do Not Store on Our Own Servers
Foxen Tech Solution does not maintain its own server-side database, user account system, or cloud data warehouse for this App. We do not store a permanent server-side profile of who you are or how you use the App.
We do not store the following information on servers operated by us:
- Name, email address, phone number, or similar personal identifiers.
- User account records or login credentials.
- Payment card details or bank account information.
- Precise or approximate location data.
- Medical records, biometric data, or clinical health records.
- Cloud meal history, cloud calorie logs, or cloud nutrition profiles.
- Food photos or meal images after food-recognition processing is complete.
- Age, height, weight, gender, diet type, workout frequency, or calorie goals on our own servers.
Because we do not keep personal App data on our own servers, there is generally no account data for us to retrieve, export, or delete from our systems. Local App data can be removed from your device as explained below.
3. How the App Processes Information
3.1 Food Image Scanning
When you choose to scan a meal or food item, the photo may be temporarily transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection to an AI food-recognition provider, such as Google Gemini Vision API or a similar service provider, for food identification and calorie estimation.
After the result is returned to your device, Foxen Tech Solution does not store the image on servers operated by us. We do not keep a copy of your food photo on our own server infrastructure.
The AI service provider may process the image and related request data under its own privacy policy and service terms. You should avoid uploading images that contain faces, documents, personal identifiers, private locations, medical records, or other sensitive information.
3.2 On-Device Storage
The App may store information locally on your Android device so that App features work properly. This information is not stored on our own servers.
Local App data may include:
- Diet type, calorie goal, and workout frequency preferences.
- Gender, age range, height, and weight inputs.
- Meal logging history and daily streak data.
- Language choice, App theme, and notification settings.
- Onboarding progress, rating prompt status, and basic App preferences.
You can remove local App data by uninstalling the App.
3.3 No User Account or Cloud Sync
The App does not require registration or login. We do not provide cloud sync, cloud backup, or a user account dashboard for your meal records. Your App settings and history are mainly stored locally on your device unless a third-party SDK processes data for its own service purpose as described in this Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party SDKs and Service Providers
The App may include third-party Android SDKs and services for advertising, ad mediation, attribution, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, AI recognition, and billing. These third parties may collect or process information directly from your Android device under their own privacy policies.
We use these services to operate, improve, monetize, and maintain the App. We do not control all data collected by these third-party providers, and their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
4.1 Advertising, Mediation, and Attribution SDKs
To keep the App free or partially free, we may show advertisements through third-party advertising networks, mediation platforms, and attribution providers. These SDKs may process information such as:
- Android Advertising ID (AAID) or similar advertising identifiers.
- Device information, operating system version, App version, and device language.
- IP address and approximate geographic region derived from IP address.
- Ad impressions, ad clicks, ad revenue signals, and ad interaction events.
- Install, launch, conversion, and campaign attribution events.
- Diagnostic information needed for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement.
The App may include some or all of the following advertising or attribution partners:
| Provider | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| AppLovin / MAX Mediation | Ad mediation, ad delivery, measurement, and personalization | https://legal.applovin.com/privacy/ |
| Google AdMob | Ad display, mediation, personalization, and measurement | https://policies.google.com/privacy |
| Meta / Facebook Audience Network | Ad delivery, app events, and ad measurement | https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/ |
| Unity Ads | Ad delivery and rewarded ad formats | https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy |
| Pangle | Ad delivery, mediation, and performance measurement | https://www.pangleglobal.com/privacy/enduser-en |
| Mintegral | Ad mediation, ad delivery, and monetization | https://www.mintegral.com/en/privacy |
| Liftoff / Vungle | Ad delivery, monetization, and performance measurement | https://liftoff.ai/privacy-policy/ |
| TikTok Events SDK | Campaign attribution, app events, and ad measurement | https://ads.tiktok.com/i18n/official/policy/privacy |
4.2 Android Advertising ID
Advertising SDKs may use the Android Advertising ID, also known as AAID. This is a resettable advertising identifier provided through Android/Google Play services.
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID from your Android device settings. On many Android devices, this can be found under: Settings > Privacy > Ads. The exact path may vary by Android version and device manufacturer.
Limiting ad personalization or deleting the Advertising ID does not remove ads completely, but it may reduce personalized advertising and change how advertising providers measure ads.
4.3 Analytics and Crash Reporting
The App may use Google Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase, or Firebase Crashlytics to understand App stability, crashes, performance, and general feature usage.
Analytics and crash reporting providers may process anonymous or pseudonymous usage events, crash logs, device information, App version, operating system version, diagnostic data, and similar technical information.
4.4 Push Notifications
The App may use OneSignal to send App notifications. Push notification providers may process your device push token, notification permission status, notification delivery status, and notification interaction events.
You can disable notifications at any time through your Android notification settings.
4.5 AI Food Recognition
The App may use Google Gemini Vision API or a similar AI recognition service to process food photos temporarily for food identification and calorie estimation. We do not retain food images on servers operated by Foxen Tech Solution after processing is complete.
4.6 Google Play Billing
If you purchase a subscription, premium feature, or other in-app product, the payment is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive, view, or store your full payment card number or bank account details.
We may receive purchase status, subscription status, product ID, transaction confirmation, or entitlement information needed to unlock paid App features. Google handles payment information under its own privacy and payment terms.
5. Why Information Is Processed
The following table summarizes the main purposes for processing connected to the App:
| Purpose | Information Involved | Who Processes It |
|---|---|---|
| Food recognition and calorie estimation | Food photo and related scan request | AI recognition provider |
| App preferences and meal history | Diet settings, meal logs, calorie goals, App preferences | Stored locally on your Android device |
| Advertising and monetization | Advertising ID, ad events, device data, approximate region | Advertising and mediation SDKs |
| Ad measurement and attribution | Install events, campaign events, conversion signals | Advertising and attribution SDKs |
| Analytics and crash reporting | App usage events, crash logs, diagnostics, performance data | Firebase |
| Push notifications | Push token, notification status, notification interaction events | OneSignal |
| In-app purchases and subscriptions | Purchase status, subscription status, entitlement data | Google Play Billing |
6. Google Play Data Safety Alignment
This Privacy Policy is intended to be consistent with the App’s Google Play Data Safety disclosures. Google Play requires developers to disclose relevant data collection and sharing, including data handled by third-party SDKs integrated into an app.
For this App, most data collection and sharing disclosures are expected to relate to third-party SDKs, such as advertising, analytics, attribution, notification, AI recognition, and billing services. Foxen Tech Solution does not store personal user profiles or cloud meal-history records on its own servers.
- Data collected: Mainly by third-party SDKs and services, including advertising identifiers, app activity, diagnostics, purchase-related information, and temporary food-image processing where applicable.
- Security practices: Data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS where applicable.
- Data deletion: Local App data can be removed by clearing App data or uninstalling the App. Third-party SDK data may require contacting the relevant provider.
- Account required: No.
- Child-directed: No. The App is not directed to children.
7. Your Privacy Choices
You can control or limit some data processing through your device and App settings:
- Clear local App data: Go to Android Settings > Apps > AI Calorie Tracker - ScanFood > Storage > Clear Data.
- Uninstall the App: Uninstalling removes App data stored locally on your device.
- Disable notifications: Turn off notifications in Android notification settings.
- Reset or delete Advertising ID: Go to Android Settings > Privacy > Ads, if available on your device.
- Limit ad personalization: Use Android or Google ad privacy controls where available.
8. GDPR Privacy Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation or similar laws. Where applicable, the legal basis for third-party SDK processing activities is legitimate interest (for analytics, crash reporting, and fraud prevention) and consent (for personalised advertising tracking where required by applicable law).
Because Foxen Tech Solution does not store personal App data on its own servers, many requests may need to be directed to the relevant third-party SDK or service provider. However, we will assist where reasonably possible.
Your rights may include:
- Right of access: You may ask what personal data is held about you. We do not hold personal App data on our own servers.
- Right to rectification: You may correct local App information directly inside the App where supported.
- Right to erasure: You may clear App data or uninstall the App. For SDK data, contact the relevant provider or contact us for assistance.
- Right to restriction or objection: You may limit advertising tracking and notifications through Android privacy controls.
- Right to withdraw consent: You may revoke permissions or disable notifications through Android settings.
- Right to data portability: We do not have server-side personal App data to export.
- Right to lodge a complaint: You may contact your local data protection authority — for example, the ICO in the UK, CNIL in France, or BfDI in Germany.
To make a GDPR-related request, email us at support@appnatic.com. We aim to respond within 30 days where applicable.
9. CCPA and CPRA Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
Because we do not store personal App data on our own servers, many privacy rights may apply directly to the third-party SDK providers integrated into the App.
Your rights may include:
- Right to know: You may request information about categories of personal information collected, used, disclosed, or shared.
- Right to delete: We do not hold server-side personal App data. You may clear local App data or uninstall the App. For SDK data, contact the relevant provider or contact us for assistance.
- Right to correct: You may correct local App information directly inside the App where supported.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising SDK activity may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws. You can limit this through Android and Google advertising privacy controls.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: Do not upload sensitive images or information to the App. You can also clear local App data.
- Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To make a California privacy request, email us at support@appnatic.com. We aim to respond within 45 days where applicable.
10. Data Deletion Requests
Foxen Tech Solution does not maintain a server-side user account database or cloud meal-history database for this App. Therefore, the main way to delete App data controlled by you is to clear local App data or uninstall the App.
To delete local App data:
- Open Android Settings.
- Go to Apps.
- Select AI Calorie Tracker - ScanFood.
- Open Storage.
- Tap Clear Data, or uninstall the App.
For information held independently by third-party SDKs, please contact the relevant third-party provider listed in this Privacy Policy. You may also contact us at support@appnatic.com and we will try to guide you to the correct provider.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical measures designed to protect App-related processing. Food images sent for AI recognition are transmitted using encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections where applicable.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Third-party SDK and service providers are responsible for their own security practices, infrastructure, and retention rules. We aim to use reputable providers that maintain their own technical and organizational security measures.
12. Data Retention
Foxen Tech Solution does not retain personal App data on its own servers because we do not operate a cloud user-account database for this App.
Information stored locally on your Android device remains there until you delete it, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
Third-party SDKs and service providers may retain information according to their own privacy policies.
13. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Because we do not maintain a user account system or server-side user database, we do not knowingly hold children’s personal data on our own servers. If you believe a child has used the App and you have privacy concerns, please contact us at support@appnatic.com.
14. International Data Transfers
Third-party SDKs and service providers may process information on servers located in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws in your region.
Where required, third-party providers are responsible for using appropriate legal mechanisms for international data transfers under their own privacy programs and policies.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when we add or remove App features, SDKs, advertising partners, analytics providers, or AI recognition services.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision date. If we make changes that materially affect your privacy rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page or providing an in-App notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of the App after a Privacy Policy update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
